My name is Shanika and I am a clinically trained social worker who specializes in trauma treatment and holistic care. I graduated in 2015 with my Masters in Social work. I have a minor in NonProfit Leadership and Develop. I continued on with getting my clinical training in a community mental health care environment. I ran the DBT skills group for 2 years and helped clients develop needed coping skills to increase their ability to regulate their emotions. As well, I have experience in Substance abuse treatment in a group and individual setting. Overall, I am EMDR trained and love to help clients whom suffer with various degrees of trauma.
