The No Grease “Premium” barbershop, represents the second franchise location under the ownership of Edmund Washington. Washington’s first shop located in Northlake Mall, made its debut in 2019. No Grease, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Buffalo natives Damian and Jermaine Johnson, alongside visionary owner Charlie Petty. The trailblazing brand proudly stands as the first black-owned franchise in the industry. From its roots in Charlotte, NC, the brand has expanded across multiple states, and in 2021 opened their first premium service location, Knights of the Razor, at South Park Mall. In 2022, they transformed a former No Grease, Inc. shop into a second Knights of the Razor shop located at 333 E. Trade St., Charlotte, NC.
