Our history

The idea for culture cafe came up during a visit to one of the many cafés in Michigan, back in the summer of 2010, at the time we were all working in the coffee industry, as either baristas, roasters or supply chain managers.
 
However, after many years as employees we all felt the urge to pursue something on our own terms.
 This passion for great coffee and our desire to pursue our own dreams made us quit our jobs exactly one year later. We served our first cup of coffee on January 2nd, 2011.
