My homebakery is located in Detroits’s University District where you will find tasty old school desserts. Hot banana pudding with meringue topping baked in the oven. Cold banana pudding with your choice of shortbread or vanilla wafer cookies. German chocolate cake and red velvet cake. Peach or fruit cobbler and assorted pies. Not to mention the assortment of cookies and brookies to die for.

I started Byrd’s Bake Shop in 2021 as a hobby during covid. After experimenting with ingredients in the kitchen, I came up with recipes. I began giving desserts away, and people started using for more to purchase. Here, I am four years later, still creating.
