Life is hard. Family is hard. Raising kids is hard. You’ve likely experienced childhood trauma, whether in your family, social life, or a specific event that is hard to manage. You want someone who can help when everything in your daily life is affected, including our thoughts, emotions and resulting behaviors that impact the way your body feels, and ultimately how you experience YOU and your relationships. You may feel overwhelmed or stuck, unsatisfied in your relationship, anxious, or wondering if things can change or things can get better. There is hope. I am here to help you work through your goals and feel better. I approach therapy with warmth, compassion and expectation that we can improve your circumstances to complete the goals you set for yourself. As an attachment focused, trauma competent therapist, I use EMDR, Play Therapy (yes, it can be for adults, too!), IFS and DBT with my clients. I also provide parent coaching, as a child development expert. I truly enjoy working with each one of my clients, and my professional experience over 30 years in the helping field provides the expertise necessary to help you on your journey. When life is hard to figure out, or to navigate, or to even shake the same habits, I am there by your side to provide guidance and support with a gracious hand.
