Shemeah is trained in Solution Focused Therapy, Play therapy, Art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Christian Counseling, Diversity and Affirmative Therapy, Mindfulness and Trauma informed care. Although Shemeah spent over 30 years working in child and adolescent therapy, she has since embraced serving adults through individual and couples counseling. Shemeah takes a wholistic approach to the human experience, understanding that each individual is a multicultural being. She believes in treating the whole person and employing different therapeutic modalities based on what aligns with the individual. Shemeah believes that everyone has it within themselves to make the changes they hope to see in their life.
