It was a Wednesday morning so there was no wait nor a crowd. After ordering, it took less than 15 minutes for us to get our food. My Sisterfriend got the Chicken and pancakes with a side of Gouda grits w/ Étouffée on the side. I got Chicken and waffles , side of the Gouda grits and a side order of bacon. We both had the peach cobbler butter on the side. Overall, the food was good. The Étouffée cause was good, but did not pair well with anything we had. It would’ve went well if we had seafood. The peach cobbler butter was 🔥 and went well with both the pancakes and waffles. The chicken, however, was NIT seasoned AT ALL. All we taste was the flour. And for this to be a Black owned restaurant, we both were surprised. We had to add hot sauce to the chicken just for it to taste like something edible. I thought the grits were good. I got the bacon to add to mine. $8 for three small pieces, was a lil pricey, but hey 🤷🏽‍♀️ If you do decide to get a side order of grits and are with someone who does eat them, don’t get two orders. The side is big enough to share. I’d definitely come back and try different dishes. 8/10 ⭐️
