Alston Co. Photography began in 2014, inspired by my uncle, a professional wedding photographer who taught me the art of photography starting at age 12. As I assisted him at weddings, I saw firsthand how his images brought awe and even tears to his clients. When he passed away from cancer, he left me his equipment and his philosophy became my own: Anyone can take pictures, but clients hire you to take the best pictures of them.
Starting my business in Chicago was challenging, but moving to Kentucky brought new hurdles. My uncle’s words—“Hard work and talent will always be unstoppable”—keep me going. Today, I create luxurious portraits, timeless keepsakes, and wall art designed to be treasured.
