I can provide Individual therapy, including anxiety, trauma, depression, addiction, and grief/loss; Family therapy, including working with couple’s and children/adolescents; and Multicultural/Inclusive therapy, including people of color and LGBTQ+. My approaches include EMDR, CBT, DBT, Family Systems, and spirituality. I am bilingual (English and Spanish). “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Maya Angelou. We all have unique stories. As a therapist, it is my goal to get to know each of my clients’ stories and walk alongside them in creating the life they want for themselves. You certainly do not have to be in this journey alone, and therapy may be a great place to start.

7 months agoIf you have bipolar disorder, or think you might have bipolar disorder, beware. I experienced my first ever manic episode while attending this treatment program, and instead of being cared for and helped I was treated as an adversary, with a very harmful, confrontational approach, and without any helpful medical intervention. The program has medical providers available via telehealth who probably could have helped me, but instead of steering me toward those providers the counselors at PCS took a very antagonistic, argumentative approach that left me feeling extremely alienated and alone. Rather than continue through this program I left early, and remained in a manic state for several more weeks, enduring a great deal more harm than I would have if someone competent and capable had helped me. I had a follow-up telehealth appointment later with the person who was supposed to be my advocate, my case manager, but she was mean-spirited and harmful. I reviewed her final report summarizing my stay at PCS, and it was clear that she had known I was manic but did not did not do anything about it to help me, did not refer me to a medical provider who could help me, and was simply judgmental about my moral character. Because of this experience I am much less likely to ever trust anyone in healthcare to help me rather than harm me.

a year ago15/10. 6 stars. If you’re in a desperate place, frantically reading reviews, and longing for actual, deep help and healing like I was three weeks ago - call PCS. I completed an intensive week, and it was life changing. I keep repeating that I’ve never felt more challenged and safely held to process deep grief, wounding, and pain. I’ve experienced an array of therapy, intellectually conceptualized so many modalities and research, and I’ve completed coursework toward becoming a counselor. But PCS helped me finally FEEL empowerment and true connection with myself - especially to know how to advocate for exactly what I need in a therapist as I move back into my life and continue fighting the good fight. Lean in to the experiential work. It’s terrifying, but the payoff is huge. This is brave, hard, and exhausting work. I was in a group with only men, and I wouldn’t have it any other way after looking back. Stay hungry, open, and curious. The therapists are experienced and wise. They SEE and celebrate all of you, collaborate, and create an individualized plan that holds sacred space for you while also preparing you to integrate back into the reality of your life. And that’s key with a “mountain top” experience like this. I’m over and beyond impressed by the entire operation. I loved and connected with all the staff and therapists I met. They provided a place of safe and grounded guidance to help me access the literal magic and beauty that’s been within myself all along. I’m forever grateful and changed from my time here. Thank you, PCS!!!!
