For many adults, weight struggles aren’t just about willpower—they’re connected to deeper patterns like emotional eating, low mood, or feeling out of control with food. If you’ve dealt with binge eating, anxiety, depression, or years of dieting without lasting change, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. In our work together, we focus on uncovering your inner strengths, understanding how you’ve shown resilience through life’s challenges, and exploring what gives your life meaning and vitality as you continue to evolve. I have experience working with people who come to therapy for many different reasons. Some people want to feel better in managing mood, a long-term illness, building skills to help with focus and attention (like with ADHD), or going through big life changes, like preparing for surgery, family/job changes, losing a loved one, or getting ready to retire. I view my clients as the experts of their own unique lives. As a psychologist and therapist, I see my role as a consultant and companion—someone who walks alongside you on a “Vikas”—a Sanskrit term meaning “an unfolding journey” of growth, healing, and self-discovery. In our work together, we focus on what gives your life meaning and vitality.
