Welton St Cafe began under other names, but has always been known for its link to Mona and Flynn Dickerson. Both native to the US Virgin Islands, Mona and Flynn moved to Colorado in the 70’s and after years of missing their home land food, started their first take out only shack. Slowly growing in popularity, the couple branched out to several restaurants and venues, finally settling with one restaurant now known as Welton St Cafe. Settled in the heart of Five Points, Welton St Cafe has kept its doors open for over 19 years in Five Points Plaza. Mona and Flynn still work daily in the kitchen, perfecting receipes and creating new ones. Their children, neices, nephews, siblings and long time friends can also been seen working the counters and grill, making their restaurant home complete.
