Good Food. Served Right. Thats the motto at Niecies Restaurant. Founded in 1985, we have been serving the community of Kansas City for 25 years. History Owner, Denise Ward had a dream to open a restaurant to highlight the recipes learned from her mother. In 1985, she and her husband Perry Ward opened her first location, a small storefront, at 5932 Prospect Ave in Kansas City, MO.
Over the years, the restaurant gained notoriety as the go to soul food restaurant in the Kansas City area. Her customers range from politicians to celebrities to the local community in the neighborhood. The staff is known to be friendly, helpful and pleasant to all customers and give a welcoming atmosphere

The Prospect location was open for 24 years before it moved to 64th and Troost Ave. Ward opened her second location in 2006 at the Brywood Shopping Center, in order to expand her business into the Raytown area.
