Krystal Burton – Licensed Professional Counselor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Arizona and a LMHC in Washington State. I have multiple certifications to treat mental and behavioral conditions. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for individuals, families, and sexual exploitation and trafficking victims. I also have a certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and I am a Certified First Responder Counselor. I have worked within the behavioral health field with adult SMI clients, high-need teens, male parolees, residential substance abuse treatment, and at-risk teens who were sex-trafficked. I am a State Board Certified Counselor and a member of the American Psychological Association and American Counseling Association. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hunter College in New York, NY, and my master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University. I treat a wide variety of clientele and have worked in various settings in the mental health field. I have a person-centered eclectic approach to therapy. I do not believe that a one-size-fits-all all mentality is best practice.
