Therapy is an intimate process; revealing feelings might feel scary and uncomfortable. My greatest reward as a counselor is helping my clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. I provide my clients with a warm, nonjudgmental environment and safe place to explore the issues throughout the counseling journey. I use a variety of approaches for individual or group counseling to help my clients, depending on individual needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I’m certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors NBCC. I’m trained in EMDR CBT and DBT. My focus has been working with children and adults to overcome life’s obstacles and empower them by using their own natural inner resources, skills and strengths. Whether it is a depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, family conflict or relationship issues I can help with your needs. Many have experienced trauma which has forever altered their lives and perception of the world as a whole. This fragmentation of our lives is often a reflection of our inner selves as well. Together I work with my clients to reunite the fragments of the inner self, reconnect to innate wisdom, and rediscover one’s world with its many opportunities.
