Established in 1992 and now in Hillman City, Amy’s Merkato (now Habesha Cafe) was Seattle’s very first Ethiopian Market. In early 2000 before returning to Ethiopia, Amy sold her market to us (Judy and Filli). Habesha Cafe is now a dedicated community and family-oriented restaurant, cafe, and a spice shop.
