Chef Freshwater is a Southern and New Orleans trained Chef.

Clifton and Sharon Freshwater are the proud owners and operators of Freshwater’s Restaurant, which is located in Uptown Charlotte, 516 N. Graham Street, Charlotte, NC.

They have immersed their hearts, minds, talents and souls into making Freshwater’s Restaurant a “Four Star Southern Restaurant.” Their motto is “A Little Bit of South, Up North” and it accurately describes the succulent cuisine and the elegant and friendly atmosphere of Freshwater’s Restaurant.
Clifton and Sharon Freshwater take pride in the elegant atmosphere that they’ve created; the southern hospitality that is extended to their customers; and in the presentation, the portions and the tantalizing taste of the delicious food that is served daily.

Freshwater’s also received the Reader’s Choice 2003 Award from the Courier-Post for the Best Southern Food Restaurant of South Jersey. Sharon Freshwater received the Union County Woman of Excellence Entrepreneur Award
