Hello! My name is Dominique and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach begins around the experiences throughout our lives that shape who we are, and how we respond to situations. Processing our current life situation, and our past, allows us to understand ourselves better and how we operate in the world. I work with people that want to make meaningful change in their lives, even if it is difficult or they feel stuck. I use a variety of modalities in my practice. Reaching out for help is a big deal, and I recognize that. My goal is to help you feel safe and comfortable in order to move forward with your life. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds achieve their goals, including areas of trauma, grief, chronic illness, relationship issues, family dynamics, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and parenting strategies. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed Practice. In life, there can be many past and current obstacles to overcome. As people, we have the ability to decide how we respond to situations and process our experiences, which can allow us to vastly alter our life outcomes.
