My ideal client is someone who is wanting to receive help for themselves. A client who is wanting to improve their life and learn how to make better decisions. An ideal client is someone who is willing to be vulnerable and that will come to realize I am there to help them be successful in their treatment process. Issues with substance abuse can touch all areas of your life. We will be able to discuss needs and goals and what is wanted and expected of the counseling sessions. One of the first questions I ask the client is “What do you want?” I give the client to dignity to dictate their recovery process. I will be supportive.
