I’m licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, and Independent Addictions Counselor. My goal is to create a space that is welcoming, warm, and nonjudgmental. One that supports the development of self and encouragement to remain focused on your journey towards living your most authentic life. My therapeutic approach stems from Integrative Therapy, where I combine techniques from different approaches to tailor treatment to the individual client’s needs. This approach recognizes that psychological, biological, social, and spiritual factors can all contribute to mental health issues. I prefer to use a Strengths-Based Approach – one that focuses on a client’s strengths and resources, rather than dwelling on deficits or problems. I utilize an assertive and empathic communication style, fostering open and honest dialogue. This involves actively listening, expressing needs clearly and respectfully, and creating a safe space for clients to explore their emotions.
