Umami Kushi catering was created after spending time working for Gonpachi a yakitori,sushi and soba restaurant located in Ginza Tokyo, Japan. After moving back to the u.s I established Ippei Japanese bistro a yakitori, sushi, and katsu restaurant in phoenix, Az shortly thereafter I relocated to Seattle, Wa where I decided to start Umami Kushi after noticing the lack of yakitori establishments in the pacific northwest. Umami Kushi is a tradition and modern yakitori/kushi yaki catering concept that focuses on trending culinary techniques, local flavors, and consistent passion for quality.
