Kasbah brings authentic Moroccan street food to Portland! Come enjoy the flavors and hospitality of Morocco.

When Naji came the United States, he helped his friend and fellow Moroccan, David Fhima, set up and manage the kitchen at Faces Mears Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a menu focusing on organic, sustainable, made-from-scratch food. During his time at Faces, Naji catered events for professional basketball and hockey players as well as stadium event staff.

Naji moved on to Seattle, Washington, to the beginnings of Google Fremont, where he was the star of the hot line. To start, he cooked for a Google staff of about 300, which, however, quickly grew to over 1,400. With a new nationality-themed menu every day, Naji’s Moroccan day was in high demand.

Now landed in Portland, Oregon, Naji has taken over the long-established Casba Mediterranean Café, changing the name to Kasbah Moroccan Café and replacing the Mediterranean menu with 100% authentic, traditional Moroccan street food.
