Born out of a love for baking, Good Cakes and Bakes is a celebration of all the wonderful things created when butter, sugar, and flour come together. Our completely organic bakery offers a variety of homemade baked goods and creative, delightful sweets, from our signature Gooey Butter Cake to cupcakes and scones. Each of our scratch-made treats begins with fresh ingredients, carefully crafted and prepared in-house each day. And with plenty of vegan options, our plant-based friends will have no trouble finding crave-worthy confections. Whether it’s a special occasion or just because, we look forward to helping you enjoy life’s sweeter moments.
Good Cakes and Bakes, LLC was developed out of April’s love of baking from recipes! April has been baking since she was a child and found that she loved the reaction she received from people after they tasted her pastries. Because of her love for baking she attended Macomb Community College for Pastry Arts and gained knowledge on Pastry Techniques, Artisan Breads, French Pastries and Recipe Development. Our goal is to provide the most natural and fresh ingredients; and our pledge to our customers is to use organic and locally grown produce when available.
